This policy covers the Android application Arrow Puzzle
(com.gwai.arrowpuzzle), referred to below as "the app" or "the game". It explains
what happens to information when you use it.
For data protection purposes the developer named in the app's Google Play listing is the data controller. Contact details are in section 14.
We collect no personal information. The app has no account system, no login, no registration, and no server of our own. We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or photographs.
The app stores the following on your device only. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else:

"App-private storage" means a folder only this app can read. It is not visible to other apps, and it is excluded from cloud backup, so it is never copied to a Google Drive account or anywhere else. If you move to a new phone using Android's direct device-to-device transfer, this data copies straight between the two handsets without passing through a server.
Arrow Puzzle can turn a picture into a playable puzzle. This is the part of the app people ask about most, so it is worth stating precisely.
Identifying the main subject of a picture uses Google ML Kit, which runs on your device. The first time it is used, the detection model may be downloaded from Google's servers. Your picture is not part of that download and is not sent anywhere.
Arrow Puzzle is free and is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. The app shows a small banner and, after every fourth level you complete, one full-screen ad. There are no ads when you open the app.
To serve ads, Google may collect and process:

This information is collected by Google, not by us. We never receive it, and we cannot identify any individual player from it. Google's handling of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes ourselves. The app includes the following services from Google:

The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no social network integration, and no in-app purchases.

The app requests no camera permission and no storage or photo-library permission. Picture selection goes through the system photo picker, which grants access to the one image you choose and nothing else.

Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, the app processes personal data only for advertising, and only with the notice and consent described here. You may withdraw consent as set out in section 4.
We hold no personal data, so we have nothing to retain or delete on our side. Data stored on your device is kept until you remove it:
Because the app is excluded from cloud backup, uninstalling genuinely erases this data rather than leaving a copy that returns on reinstall.
Data collected by Google for advertising is retained under Google's own retention policies, linked in section 5.
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the app keeps no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to look up, export or erase on your behalf — everything the app stores is on your device and directly under your control, as described in section 8.
For data held by Google in connection with advertising, exercise your rights through the Google links in section 5, or reset your Advertising ID as described in section 4.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
We do not sell personal information. Personalised advertising may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out by declining personalised ads, or by disabling ad personalisation in your device settings as described in section 4. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may withdraw consent, request correction or erasure, and raise a grievance using the contact address in section 14.
Arrow Puzzle is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Data stored by the app is held in app-private storage, protected by Android's application sandbox and by the device's own encryption. Network connections made by the app and by the Google components it includes use encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS). Because we operate no server and hold no personal data, there is no central database of players to be breached.
We transfer no data ourselves. Data collected by Google for advertising may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's Google Play listing. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
